Aurel ‘Mighty Atom’ Emile Joliat (deceased) played 16 years in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Montreal Canadiens. Three Stanley Cup teams, winner of Hart Trophy in 1934. Rarely played at more than 140 pounds, 125 in 1925. Nicknamed “Mighty Atom” and “Little Giant.” One first team, three second team All-Star.

He spent most of his NHL career as a linemate of Howie Morenz and Billy Boucher.

Member of Hockey Hall of Fame. He was inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 1975.
