Began coaching career at Mt. Snowe, Vermont. Coached Canadian Alpine Ski team for 25 years, including six Olympics and seven World Championships. Joined Canadian women’s program 1970-71 and remained through 1994-95. Among outstanding skiers coached were Betsy Clifford, Laurie Graham, Kathy Kreiner, Kerrin Lee-Gartner, Kate Pace, Karen Percy, Liisa Savijarvi, and Gerry Sorensen. Technical Director of National Alpine Ski Team 1978-79 to 1980-81. Member of Canadian Ski Hall of Fame (1994). As a member of the Rideau Canoe Club, he was a member of the K-4 Canadian championship team in 1968.
