Dr. Donald ‘Don’ Alexander Young (deceased) played basketball, football, lacrosse, and baseball. He was a member of the Rideau Aquatic Club which won the Canadian Senior Championship in basketball.

He helped Ottawa win their first Grey Cup victories in 1925 and 1926. He starred for McGill University in both basketball and football, lettering 13 times out of a possible 14. He was made a member of the McGill Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.
