Edward ‘Eddie’ George Gerard (deceased) played with the Ottawa Hockey club for 10 years beginning with the 1913-14 season. He also coached the Montreal Maroons and managed NY Americans. Four Stanley Cups as player, three with Ottawa, one on loan to Toronto St. Pat’s. Coached Maroons to Stanley Cup. Also excelled at football, paddling, cricket, tennis, and lacrosse. Member of Hockey Hall of Fame.
