Emile Cote (deceased) took up bowling as therapy for a broken neck suffered during his service in World War II. Soon after he became one of Ottawa’s top 5-pin keglers. Rolled three perfect games. Held a city-high 275 average and rolled a high-cross of 1083 in 1962. Honoured in 1970 by Canadian Bowlers Congress for his service to 5-pin bowling.
