Frederick Wellington ‘Cyclone’ Taylor (deceased) played with the Ottawa Senators in 1908, 1909, Renfrew 1910 and 1911 and with the Vancouver Maroons from 1913 to 1922. Won Stanley Cups with Ottawa and Vancouver. Brilliant hockey player in every phase of the game. Starred at defence, centre, and rover.

  • Honoured by King George VI with Order of the British Empire for service during WWII.
  • He was inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 1975.
