Reigned as the North American Snooker Champion from 1948 to 1970. Widely regarded as the best player Canada has ever produced. Twice runner-up in world championship play. Set record match play break at 144. Had six century breaks during ’55 N.A. championship. Scored pocket billiard world record run of 150 in 1963, duplicated feat many times. Despite 1966 stroke, defended N.A. title successfully until his death.
