Hector ‘Hec’ J. Kilrea (deceased) played with Ottawa Senators in the 1920’s ended his career with Detroit in 1939 after two seasons; 1933 to 1935, with Toronto. He was one of the fastest skaters in National Hockey League (NHL) history.

Assisted Mud Bruneteau on winning goal in sixth overtime period 1936, in the NHL’s longest ever game. Was on the Ottawa Senators’ Stanley Cup team in 1927. Well-decorated soldier in WWII. Member of Hockey Hall of Fame.
