Hugh ‘Rip’ Riopelle (deceased) enjoyed playing baseball and wrestling as an athlete. As a builder he is known for his work in hockey, baseball, softball and football. He played hockey from 1948 to 1950 with the Shawinigan Falls Cataracts. He also played with the Quebec Aces from 1949 to 1950. During the 1950 to 1951 and 1953 to 1954 season’s he played with the Ottawa Senators. he played for the Wembley Lions from 1951 to 1953 and the New Haven Blades from 1958 to 1961.
