James Allen Kilby MacDonald (deceased) won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the National Hockey League’s (NHL) rookie of the year, 1939-40, scoring 15 goals and 28 points. Member of NY Rangers’ Stanley Cup team, 1939-40. Returned to Rangers after War service until 1944-45 campaign. Coached at West Point, Arvida, Baltimore, and Quebec. With Quebec in 1950-51, was Memorial Cup finalist vs Barrie.
