John George ‘Buck’ Boucher

John George ‘Buck’ Boucher (deceased) participated for twenty years both as a player and coach in professional hockey. He played with Ottawa, the Montreal Maroons, Chicago and coached both St. Louis and Boston. He played on four Ottawa Senators’ Stanley Cup teams. He scored 122 goals, an outstanding total for a defenceman of that era. He coached Ottawa to win the 1949 Allan Cup. he was also considered an excellent football player. Mr. Boucher is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
