Starred with Queen’s Golden Gaels, winners of the Yates Cup 1956 and ’57. Thirteen years with Ottawa Rough Riders and winner of three Grey Cups in 1960, ’68, and ’69. Canadian Press Male Athlete of the Year in 1960, top Canadian in CFL and Grey Cup Outstanding Player same year. East Division Outstanding Player in 1960 and 1967. Many times an All-Star. Holds pro record of 287 yards rushing in a single game.
