Thomas Raymond ‘Ray’ Kinsella (deceased) played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Ottawa Senators. He was a welterweight Eastern boxing champion and boxing instructor at the Ottawa Boys’ Club.

Founding member of Civil Service Recreation Association (RA). Headed two subscription campaigns for its construction. Served three three-year terms as President. Member of the RA’s Hall of Fame. The RA Centre arena bears his name.
