Excelled at scholastic level in track, basketball, and football. Rookie of Year with Rough Riders 1962. Twice CFL All-Star. Played on three Grey Cup finalists, two winners, during 1962-70 career in which he caught 272 passes for 6,092 yards and 52 touchdowns. His 22.5 yards-per-catch average is a CFL record. Runner-up Outstanding Canadian Award 1968.
