William ‘Bill’ Mailes Cowley (deceased) was one of the NHL’s greatest centres. He played with Ottawa Primrose, Memorial Cup finalist in 1930. Played in NHL for 13 seasons with St. Louis in 1934 and Boston during 1935 to 1947. He won the Hart Trophy 1940-41 and 1942-43. He won the Stanley Cup in 1938-39 and again in 1940-41. Also that same year he won the scoring championship. Member of Hockey Hall of Fame.
