In addition to our permanent galleries, the Ottawa Sport Hall of Fame showcases a variety of changing exhibitions throughout our exhibit space. Our exhibits feature the many outstanding individuals and teams who have brought great fame to our city.
Our exhibits will highlight major sporting events in Ottawa, such as the 2012 NHL All-Star Game, the return of football to Lansdowne park and the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Ottawa. With new exhibits being added to the Museum all the time, there will always be something new for you to discover![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”small-column”][vc_column_text]
The Ottawa Sport Hall of Fame houses a collection of photographs, clothing, equipment, trophies, medals, programs and much more from some of Ottawa’s rich sporting history.
You’ll see individual and team photos dating back to the 1892 Ottawa Amateur Athletic Club’s baseball team as well as pieces of decades-old sports memorabilia, including football helmets from former CFL players, figure skates from such luminaries on ice as Barbara Ann Scott and hockey equipment from iconic players like the Senators’ Daniel Alfredsson.
We are always adding looking to add to the collection – from current items to less-modern sporting items which are becoming increasingly harder to find.
