Alex Connell (deceased) played with Ottawa and the Montreal Maroons in the National Hockey League (NHL) winning the Stanley Cup with both teams. With Ottawa in 1927-28 he had arecord of six consecutive shutouts, 446 min. 9 seconds, allowing only 57 goals in 44 games. He holds the NHL’s lowest goals-against-per-game in regular season (career), 1.91. He is a member of Hockey Hall of Fame.
