Dave “The Voice” Schreiber has spent 40 years in radio in the greater Ottawa area, including 32 years with CFRA/Team 1200. He has been the play-by-play voice for many teams in many sports.

Schreiber began his career calling hockey games in 1965 for the Smiths Falls Bears during the Eastern Canadian Memorial Cup semifinals and final. For 38 years, he has been the voice of the Ottawa 67’s – following them through regular seasons and on four Memorial Cup runs.

His tenure with football has seen him as head of the broadcast crew for the Ottawa Rough Riders from 1992-1995 and for the Ottawa Renegades from 2003-2006. He also announced the 2001 and 2002 Grey Cups nationally for CHUM Radio.

Schreiber has also spent 17 years announcing at Rideau-Carleton Raceway, called games for the Ottawa Lynx baseball team, broadcast boxing matches, including the Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship, and was a member of the original broadcast crew of the Ottawa Senators in 1992.
