Edward ‘Eddie’ William Joseph MacCabe (deceased) was a Sports Editor for the Ottawa Journal and the Ottawa Citizen. Football Reporters of Canada’s outstanding writer in 1960. Wrote the national best seller Profile of a Pro, (The Russ Jackson Story), as well as many other books. A force on the amateur golf scene and an enthusiast for the sport of boxing. Named to Canadian Football Hall of Fame (media section).
