Thomas Patrick ‘TP’Gorman (deceased) was involved in hockey, lacrosse, horse racing (flat and harness), baseball, and figure skating. He was a member of the 1908 Olympic gold medal team in lacrosse. Managed or coached seven Stanley Cup teams; three in Ottawa, two for the Canadiens and one each with Chicago and the Montreal Maroons. In 1917, he was a founder of the National Hockey League (NHL) as Ottawa’s representative. Member of Hockey Hall of Fame.
